Experienced Barista to join our team!

King Frank is a brand new coffee shop opening in June in Stoke Newington N16.

We are a small coffee shop that is family owned, serving speciality coffee, teas/infusions, karak tea and matcha.

We’ll also be selling home made sandwiches/toasties and locally sourced baked goodies such as brownies and cookies.

We’re on the lookout for part time experienced baristas who have a minimum of 1 year experience with the following:

• Some specialty coffee knowledge
• A positive and proactive attitude to work
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Develop knowledge of our products and ensure team-members are able to communicate those products to our customers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in following opening and closing check list (turning on equipment, cleaning equipment)
• Experience in dialling in coffee (we have a new La Marzocco Linea Classic S 2 Group and use a Mahlkoenig E65s for house and EK43 for guest and decaf)
• Experience in latte art (ESSENTIAL!)

We don’t serve much food beyond some baked goodies and sandwiches but will also require some ‘all-round’ support to serve and clean where required. Our shop is very small and takeaway focused.

We can offer you: - £14 per hour (rising to £15 based on experience and progression) - 3-5 days per week - Tips - Coffee and meal on shift - 20% discount for friends and family - 30% discount for purchases at end of shift
